We
normally have about 60 shooters, one year (2003) we had 83. The payment
in advance helps us run a better event, by preparing score cards with the
archer’s names/addresses; shooting styles; this speeds up the morning of
the shoot check-in process. We can get the field layout prepared in
advance for the various styles; re-curve, compound, juniors, cubs and longbow.
Pre-registration
(with payment) also helps us get off to a quicker start Saturday morning of
the shoot as there is a ceremony with maid Marion shooting the
"Opening" arrow for the tournament.
